It is dominated by thorn bush land with Galana Rive flowing through and bordered by the Yatta plateau, the longest lava flow in the world. The park is known for its largest herds of the famous ‘red’elephants. The parks is accessible through mtito Andei, Voi,Bachuma,Manyani,Ithumba or Sala gates.

Major Attractions.

Mudanda rock, the enormous rock towers above a natural dam, which draws elephants and thousands of other animals.
Yatta plateau, the longest lava flow in the world stretching 300km.
Lugards fall named after Captain Lugards the first proconsul to East Africa, the falls feature bizarrely eroded rocks through which the waters of the Galana River flow over foaming rapids and crocodile-infested pools.

Combination Kenya Safari: With our landcruiser we drive to Tsavo West and Amboseli. There we pick you up by airplane and you fly to the Masai Mara. There you will spend two nights.

1200 km including everything Europeans could never imagine. Once you cross the gate of Tsavo West, passed by hippos at Tsavo River and driven to Ngulia Hills which lie 1800m above sea level, you will know why Denys Finch Hatton called Tsavo his home. You will be able to watch crocodiles at Mzima Springs and many other species of wild animals. In the evening you will see the Kilimanjaro before the stars light up the African sky. The next morning we will drive along a lava flow and 94 km through Masai country. As we draw closer to the Kilimanjaro big herds of mammals will appear out of the dust of the Amboseli. Herds of 100 elephants are not seldom in Amboseli. Enjoy the Kenya Safari landscape at the foot of the Kilimanjaro and feel the magic of this Holy Mountain. Masai people call the mountain "House of God".

After breakfast and an early Kenya Safari game drive you will be picked up by an airplane to fly to Masai Mara.
Masai Mara is one of the most beautiful, well known and mostly visited National Park in Kenya. Masai Mara is part of Serengeti and has a size of 1540 km² and due to the connection it is a very big ecosystem.

Yearly there is a migration of about 2 millions wild animals, particularly gnus, thomson gazelles and zebras. But even without the migration in Masai Mara you can watch an unbelievable amount of wild animals.

Savannahs, rivers and forests offer a diversified landscape and an ideal living space for many species. Here you can experience a breathtaking game viewing of predators.

Through the year you can expect short rain showers because Masai Mara National Park is close to Lake Victoria. During the day it is mostly very hot and at night it gets very cold. For all safaris we recommend warm clothes (especially for early morning game drive) and enough sun protection.
